Really like this lamp. Easy to connect for remote control with app for phone or tablets.. Pictures do not do it justice. Bright enough to read by, yet not glaring. Even my husband likes it. He likes to watch TV with little to no light at all. As long as he can find the remote. Had it on for over 8 hrs to see if cord or lamp would get hot, did not even get warm. I love this lamp so much, I purchased a second for my four year old!!! It works great with her echo Dot (my light pairs perfectly with my spot), and she loves being able to pick the color of her night light each night! Great product! Understand the negative reviews, it’s a pain to connect to WiFi, but once you get it, the lamp is amazing. Best unnecessary purchase of 2020!!! from Spencer
I have all the light switches in my house set up to be controlled by Alexa. With the exception of a few portable outlets, my home outlets are all standard. I like the convenience of being able to control lighting with Alexa. This light is perfect for my needs, a bed side lamp that I don’t have to get up or contort myself to control. It’s a good deal considering that the combination of an outlet and a lamp could get pricey. This lamp has all the color and brightness options that you will ever need. You can, but you don’t need the app to access them all. The dial at the top allows quick and easy adjustment. The brightest white light could be used for light therapy I think, it’s great for waking up. The amber lights are nice in the evening for reading and relaxing. I think this would make a really good night light for kids. You could either set the timer to have it turn itself off, or shut it off by voice control without having to sneak back into your child’s room. from Eagle
Purchased for a small college studio apartment. We were very pleased with the quality and function for use in both ambiance and general lighting. The setup can be a little challenging if you are in a mixed 2.4GHz & 5GHz WiFi environment. Otherwise, a nice app and great features for the price. from T.K.
